Reasonable Accommodations
Under both California State and Federal laws, employers are required to provide reasonable accommodations for those applicants and employees who, because of their disability, are unable to perform the essential functions of their job, unless the accommodation would represent an undue hardship. Reasonable accommodation is any appropriate measure that would allow the individual to successfully and safely perform the essential functions of the job. DMG is skilled at helping employers navigate through the process of identifying and evaluating accommodation requests and ideas to support positive employment outcomes and employer legal compliance.
